Kajang, March 25, 2025 – A 21-year-old man was found burnt to death after being trapped in a house fire in Kampung Baru Sungai Chua earlier this morning.

According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Senior Operations Officer, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, the emergency call was received at 10:08 a.m. Fourteen firefighters from the Kajang, Semenyih, and Seri Kembangan stations were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the team discovered that a single-storey house measuring 25 by 60 feet was already 70 percent engulfed in flames.

“The victim, identified as Alvin Foo Kah Fei, was found burnt in the bathroom at around 11 a.m.,” he said in a statement.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and firefighting and forensic operations are ongoing.
